9/27

For this picture I kind of wish that i would have had some type of filter that would have made the contrast between the sky and the lake more different.
This is by far one of my favorite for the entire Yellowstone trip.

9-20

This picture I took outside my house its kind of cheating because its not really in nature. I really like this picture because it has the trees that are the majority of the focus but they aren't in the center of the picture so working with the rule of thirds.
On this picture it is just the clouds but I really liked the colors in the photo. But both of the pictures connects to my last two blog pose

The reason that I selected this picture was because it showed the different ways that light can change the color of the subject. I also chose this one because it is a doesn't have that many elements to contribute to the final picture but I still find it fascinating to look at.

The reason that I chose this picture was because that it tied into my post for last week, with having different aspects of a sunset picture and it also tied in with the picture above when looking at the effects that light can have on things.

Sunsets

Here is a picture of a sunset that I found on the internet. Personally I prefer sunset pictures that have clouds in them and have other components to the picture rather than just having the sun set over the horizon. That being said I think that if you are going to spend the time to take a beautiful sunset picture than the main focus should be the sun, which it is in this picture.

The same idea from the picture above applies to this one as well. even though the tree is the center of the picture my eye is still drawn to the sun that is peeking through the branches.
